Karma Membership – Direct Debit

Karma membership is the name of our direct debit contract. The minimim contract period is 3 months.

When the 3 month contract period is up, the contract simply rolls on until you would like it to stop.

We don’t allow pausing in the first 3 months of the contract period.

Contract Suspension – applies to existing and new contracts 

  • Karma membership suspension can be requested at any time after the 3 month initial contract period.
  • We allow a 1 week minimum suspension with a maximum of 4 weeks in any year period.
  • If you would like to suspend membership due to travel, sickness or illness please advise us by email with one week minimum notice to info@bikramaustralia.com.au. Only email requests will be actioned.
  • All suspension requests must be requested at least one week in advance without exception.
  • We cannot accept requests for suspension retrospectively.
  •  If you need a longer suspension period, you may choose to cancel your membership contract, bear in mind that when you start a new contract the initial 3 month contract rules will apply. 
  • All suspensions must be in 1 weekly increments. Please consider this when you are providing us with your suspension dates. e.g. If you are on holiday for 10 days, you can choose to request either a 1 week or 2 week suspension, not 10 days.
  •  Depending on the dates, a suspension may change your debit date for the future. For instance if your monthly debit comes out on the 1st of the month and you request a 2 week suspension from 1st, the debit due on the 1st will not happen and will shift back to the 14th. All future debits will then be on the 14th of the month.
  • We will keep a record of your used suspension allowances.
  • Annual suspension entitlement for current Karma members starts from 5th August 2022. For new members the year starts from contract start date.

Retrospective Suspension

There is strictly no retrospective suspension. Please be sure to give us a week’s notice. We understand that if you’re sick you are unlikely to be able to predict this and will work our hardest to look after you in this circumstance.

 

 Cancellation of Suspended Contracts

 We are unable to cancel a suspended contract.

 

Karma Membership Cancellation

  • All cancellation requests must be by email.
  • There is a minimum 14 day notice period on cancellation, which may include a final payment being withdrawn from your account after your cancellation request is received. 
  • Your membership will remain active for the entire payment cycle period after your final payment.
  • There is no penalty for cancelling your contract after the 3 month initial contract period is up.

  • If you cancel before the 3 month contract period is complete, the outstanding value of the contract will be debited as final payment. e.g. The value of the contract is currently $519 so if you cancelled after 2 months, the final debit amount would be $173.

  • Please be aware if you do cancel your contract, for instance to go on an extended trip, when you restart it again the initial 3 month contract terms and conditions will apply again to the new contract.

 

Pricing Options Terms & Conditions

  • Please respect the expiry date of your pass. We can only consider extensions in exceptional cases. 
  • All pass extensions requests are at the discretion of the business. If you need to suspend due to travel, sickness or illness please request suspensions in writing with a minimum of one week’s notice to info@bikramaustralia.com.au.  
  • We cannot accept requests for suspension retrospectively.

 

12 Month Upfront Membership

A maximum of one month suspension is available if necessary.

6 Month Upfront Membership

A maximum of 2 weeks suspension is available if necessary.

50 Class Pass

50 Class passes may be shared between 4 people. 12 month expiry from date of first use. 

There is a suspension of one month available if necessary. This request can only be made by the owner of the pass.

10 Class pass

10 Class passes may be shared between 2 people. 10 Class passes expire 3 months after date of first use. A one week suspension is available if necessary.

 Monthly Unlimited Pass

Any extension is at the discretion of the business owner.

Intro Pass.  Due to the low cost of this 14 day unlimited pass we cannot extend or suspend this pass.
